TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE
THIS AGREEMENT is made at time of booking
AND IS MADE BETWEEN:
Decoy Farm Cottages whose registered office is at Decoy Farm, Clinch Street, High Halstow, Rochester ME3 8SR; and the booker.
1 Prices
The price for the supply of good and services are set out in our Tariffs.
2 Cottage Specifics
- Cottages may be occupied after 4pm on day of booking. They must be vacated by 10am on day of departure unless specifically arranged with Kim Myatt. A charge may be payable.
- If you are arriving after 9pm, please contact Kim to make arrangements to collect the keys.
- Cottages must be left in a clean and tidy condition. Charges may be made for any cleaning required.
- Any damage to fixtures, fittings or cottage must be reported to Kim Myatt immediately. Arrangements to pay for repair or replacement will be made
- No Dogs are allowed. Sorry.
- The management are not liable for any loss or damage to your property during your stay with us.
- No fixtures, fittings or linen may be removed from the Cottages at any time. Charges will be made for any losses.
- This is a working farm so please take care to look out for any farm equipment, traffic and any other risk factors that may affect your personal safety. The management do not accept any liability for your possessions, property or personal safety whilst moving about on the property.
3 Right to Cancel
- We will permit you to cancel your booking by sending written notice no later than 7 days after the date on which this Agreement has been committed, booking is assumed as acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you request cancellation at a later date, then unless we are in breach of contract, we have the right to refuse [or] retain all or part of your deposit as a contribution towards any losses or costs we suffer as a result of the cancellation.
- Once you have notified us that you are cancelling this Agreement, any sum debited to us from you will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order provided that the services in question have not been taken by you.
4. We reserve the right to cancel the Agreement between us if:
- We have insufficient space to deliver the cottage you have ordered
- One
or more of the services you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a
typographical error.
5. Changes to Terms and Conditions of Business
We reserve the right to make minor changes to this Agreement from time to time. Any major changes will only be made with your agreement.
6. Data Protection
You consent to the computer storage and processing of your personal data by us in connection with this Agreement and to the transmission of this data across the company and its business partners for the purposes of our legitimate interests including statistical analysis, marketing of our services and credit control. If you breach this Agreement, your personal data may be disclosed or passed to third parties to the extent necessary to assist recovery procedures.
